This small feeder is very popular for calf rearing as the capacity suits calves up to 100 kg and the unit will hold nearly a bulk bag of pellets.
Featuring two 1200mm length troughs, capable of handling 2 to 4 calves or 4 pigs feeding at any given time. The lick doors are fully adjustable from closed to 6″ open with a simple turn of the supplied spanner.
Unlike other feeders, the simply designed lick doors makes this feeder suitable for feeding grain, pellets or heavy chopped and mixed feeds. The specially designed troughs eliminate waste, allowing your feed to go further.
Feeding grain on the ground or exposed to the elements in an open trough leaves up to 30% of the product wasted and fowled. Save money, save time and keep your grain elevated and out of the weather with this specially developed feeder.
This handy little unit has two weather verandas, is weather and rodent proof, fully galvanised and built tough to last. A strong sub-frame provides the ideal lifting platform for your tractor forks or simply attach a chain to the tow point and shift with your utility or atv vehicle.
