The Paton 1.5 Tonne Feeder is a medium capacity unit designed for young cattle such as calves growing out to young weaners. This is our most popular feeder for calf rearing as their larger capacity suits bigger calves up to 275 kg and the unit will hold nearly two bulk bags of pellets or grain.
Featuring two 2400mm troughs, capable of handling 8 – 10 calves at one time. Quick and easy to adjust, Paton’s signature lick doors are fully adjustable from being fully closed to an opening of 6″ with a turn of the supplied spanner.
These simply designed lick doors enable the feeder to deliver grain, pellets or heavy chopped and mixed feeds. The specially designed troughs are designed for easy cleaning and are soft on animal mouths.
This unit is fully weather proof, with two weather varandas, has a wide hinged swing opening lid, is fully galvanised and built tough. A strong sub-frame provides the ideal lifting platform for your tractor forks or simply attach a chain to the tow point and shift with your utility or atv.
